5:00am to 8:00am

Our society depends on fossil fuels for energy, but they are harmful to the environment, and they won't last forever.

Scientists are looking for alternative energy sources, including biofuels from a variety of plant sources.  At this special members-only event, you'll learn about the challenges that scientists face as they develop cleaner ways to power our lives.

Join us for hands-on fun and cutting edge science for all ages!

Farming for Fuels is supported by the U.S. Department of Energy's BioEnergy Science Center and developed in collaboration with the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
