Age Groups

 

Investigators:  Ages 3 - 5, preschool.  Campers should be toliet-trained.

 

 

Explorers:  Ages 5 - 7, entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Campers should the ability to manipulate scissors and simple puzzles.

 

 

Seekers:  Ages 7 - 9, entering 2nd through 4th grades.  Campers should have the ability to read and work independently on projects after receiving directions.

 

 

Discoverers: Ages 9 - 11, entering 4th through 6th grades.  Campers should have the ability to work creatively on complex projects.

 

 

Adventurers: Ages 11 and older, entering 6th grade or above.  Campers should have the ability to initiate and follow through on complex projects.

Payment

 

Registrations must be made in writing, at least 1 week (7 days) prior to the start of the camp session.  Registrations made after this time will be charged a $5 per camp late fee.  A non-refundable deposit of $25, due at the time of registration, will confirm your spot in the camp.  Remaining tuition and fees are due one week (7 days) prior to the start of the chosen camp session.  If full tuition and fees are not received 7 days prior to the start of a camp session, your spot may be forfeited to the next child on the wait list. 

 


 

Cancellation Policy

 

If a cancellation is at least 7 days prior to the start of the camp, 100% of camp fees will be refunded, minus the non-refundable deposit of $25. 

 

If a cancellation is made by 4 PM on the Thursday prior to the first day of camp, 50% of camp fees will be refunded, minus the non-refundable deposit of $25.

 

After that date, no fees can be refunded.

 


 

Scholarships

 

Half and full scholarships are available to those who qualify thanks to generous donations from business sponsors and community organizations.  Funds are limited and scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.   More info >>

 


 

Before, Lunch, and After Care

 

Supervised before-care, lunchcare, and after-care programs are available.  See pricing page.  Please return registration for supervised care programs with camp registration.  Children registered for lunchcare must bring their own lunch.

 


 

Teachers

 

We recruit lively and experienced teachers with advanced degrees in education and/or the sciences.  All of our teachers hold teaching licenses, and all have experience teaching in schools, museums and camps.

 


 

Camp Activity Schedules

 

By the first day of each session, campers will receive a schedule detailing any field trips, show and tell, messy days, or other activities that you will want to know about for advance planning.
